White sugar for export: Brazil and West Africa
A sourcing page for West Africa sugar buyers, white sugar importers, wholesalers, commodity traders and Brazilian exporters. Compare refined cane sugar offers for delivery to the port of Lomé, Togo.
This page describes a sourcing requirement and sugar trade terminology. It does not confirm available stock, an identified vessel, a firm price or a completed transaction.
Brazil → Lomé sourcing: up to 100,000 metric tonnes
The sourcing requirement is Brazilian-origin white sugar, up to 100,000 metric tonnes, destined for Lomé. The total quantity may be split across lots or vessels according to availability, port capacity and agreed terms. ICUMSA grade, packaging and shipment schedule remain to be confirmed.
White sugar, grades and packaging
Specify refined white sugar or white crystal sugar, Brazilian origin, ICUMSA colour, polarisation, moisture and analysis. ICUMSA 45 is a quality term to verify against the certificate of analysis; it is not a customs code. Distinguish white sugar from VHP raw sugar and brown sugar.

Afloat sugar cargo and loaded vessels
Afloat cargo means sugar already loaded and in transit. For a cargo available for resale or diversion to Lomé, request the vessel name, IMO number, bill of lading (B/L), loading port, ETA and evidence of the seller’s right to dispose of the cargo. A sugar vessel for sale here refers to the cargo, not the sale of the ship.

White sugar customs code: HS 170199 / NCM 17019900
HS heading 1701 covers cane or beet sugar and chemically pure sucrose in solid form. For solid refined white sugar without added flavouring or colouring, the reference subheading is HS 170199 (1701.99); in Brazil, NCM 17019900 (1701.99.00). Confirm classification against the product specification and the nomenclature applicable to the declaration. VHP raw sugar falls under a different subheading: do not automatically apply this code to it.
