Lot quality, packaging and inspection

Define cultivar, milling, broken percentage, agreed moisture, chalky grains, foreign matter, crop year, net weight and tolerances. Obtain a representative sample, cooking test and destination-required analyses. Discuss 5, 25 or 50 kg bags, private label or bulk with the supplier. Certificates must identify the delivered lot.

Customs codes and quotation brief

HS 1006 separates paddy (100610), brown rice (100620), semi/wholly milled rice (100630) and broken rice (100640). Parboiled is not one universal tariff code. Confirm the subdivision and destination requirements. Request container-level tonnage, product, packing, named seaport, Incoterm, schedule and proposed payment terms. This guide confirms no available stock or firm price.
